Is Lumo Wallet safe?
Yes. Your crypto is self-custody: your private keys and recovery phrase are encrypted on your device with AES-256 and never stored on Lumo servers. Lumo Wallet has been independently audited by Cyberscope with a 100% score.
How can I recover my wallet?
You can recover your wallet on any device using your 12 or 24-word recovery phrase. Never share this phrase with anyone, including Lumo staff.
Are there hidden transfer fees?
No. Sending and receiving is free apart from the network fee. Swaps are 0.4%; buying and selling from 1.0%.
How do I log in to Lumo Business on a computer?
Go to lumowallet.com/business and scan the QR code with the Lumo Wallet app. For your security, desktop sessions end after 30 minutes.
How do I refund a card payment?
Open Lumo Business in the app, find the payment and choose a full or partial refund. You need enough Lumo Card Checkout balance to cover it.
How do I add funds to my Lumo Card Checkout balance?
You can add funds by bank transfer from Lumo Business in the app.
Will Lumo ever ask for my recovery phrase?
Never. Lumo staff will never ask for your recovery phrase, seed phrase or private keys. Anyone who does is not from Lumo.
