Last updated: March 2026 · Lumo Wallet LLC: Version 1.0

This page is provided for transparency and should be read together with all applicable Lumo Wallet policies, partner terms and local laws. Lumo Wallet is non-custodial and does not provide legal, tax, accounting or investment advice.

Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out rules for using Lumo Wallet, Lumo Business, plugins, website, support channels, partner-enabled services and related tools.

Using Lumo Wallet means using it lawfully, responsibly and without harming other users, businesses, partners or the broader ecosystem.

Non-custodial nature of services

Lumo Wallet does not custody user funds through the core wallet and does not control user private keys.

However, Lumo Wallet may restrict access to hosted features, business tools, APIs, plugins, support channels or partner-enabled services where necessary.

Lawful use

You must only use Lumo Wallet in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, sanctions rules, tax obligations and platform policies.

You must not use the services in jurisdictions or situations where your use is prohibited.

Prohibited activities

You must not use Lumo Wallet for fraud, scams, money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, ransomware, illegal gambling, illegal drugs, weapons, human exploitation, stolen goods, counterfeit goods, phishing, market manipulation, malware, unauthorised access or abusive activity.

You must not misrepresent your identity, business, source of funds, transaction purpose or relationship with Lumo Wallet.

Third-party services

Third-party providers may impose their own acceptable use rules, prohibited categories, limits and compliance checks.

Violation of partner rules may result in declined transactions, suspended card access, refused onboarding, blocked on-ramp/off-ramp access or other restrictions.

Enforcement and restrictions

Lumo Wallet may investigate activity, restrict hosted features, disable API credentials, suspend business tools, remove access to partner-enabled services or take other action where we believe this policy has been violated.

We may also act where required to protect users, partners, systems, reputation or legal compliance.

Cooperation with authorities

We may cooperate with lawful requests from regulators, courts, law enforcement or other competent authorities.

Because core wallet usage is non-custodial, Lumo Wallet cannot reverse blockchain transactions or recover lost private keys.

User responsibility

You are responsible for your own wallet activity, business activity, taxes, compliance, refunds, customer relationships, credentials and use of Lumo Wallet integrations.

You should not rely on Lumo Wallet as legal, tax, accounting, investment or regulatory advice.

Updates to this policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy to reflect product, legal, partner or risk-control changes.
